16 year old Nyasha Matonhodze has been made the face of Louis Vuitton‘s Fall/Winter advertising campaign.
After being scouted and walking into Elite model agency in London while wearing her school uniform, the Zimbabwean-born, British-raised teen went on to win the Elite Model Look competition n 2009 and then became a full time model.
Speaking of her huge achievement, Nyasha said “”My eyes filled up with tears and I thought ‘Lord you are lucky!…It didn’t actually hit me until I was sat in a Rolls Royce sitting eye-to-eye with Mr Meisel. He is a wonder to work with, he and Marc (Jacobs) made me feel beautiful”.
Nyasha has already walked in the Louis Vuitton autumn/winter 2011 catwalk show at Paris Fashion Week alongside model legends Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell. She has also appeared in Teen Vogue magazine and Harpers Bazaar.
