Actor Djimon Hounsou says marriage ruins perfectly good
relationships. Hounsou, who was never really married to socialite Kimora
Lee, made the statement during a press call for his latest movie Baggage Claim.
“The idea of marrying somebody can actually ruin the union,” he said in response to a question from Hip Hollywood (via Rhymeswithsnitch.com).
Hounsou echoed the sentiment of ex-husbands everywhere who were
forced into marriages by women who live in a fantasy land of unrealistic
expectations.
“Some people are happily together for decades and they get this fantasy idea to go and get married when it’s just about papers basically. Eventually it just goes sour,” he said.
Djimon Hounsou and Kimora Lee Simmons exchanged vows in a commitment
ceremony in West Africa in 2009. The couple has one son together.
ON MY POINT OF VIEW , I THINK ITS KINDA TRUE, I REMEMBER A FRIEND MENTIONING THIS ON FACEBOOK LAST WEEK QUOTING " If I were a gal I would ve always fight to remain as a gal friend rather than fighting to become a wyf!" From KHAMIS KETO TUGA ON FB.
