PHOTOS: RIOTS SPREAD ACROSS UNITED KINGDOM:Violence has broken out in several London areas as shops are looted and police are attacked - and there is also unrest in Birmingham, Bristol and Liverpool.

Latest figures from Scotland Yard say 334 people in London have been arrested, 69 of which have now been charged. Two other people have been cautioned. In Birmingham, police say about 100 people were arrested after disturbances around the Bull Ring shopping centre.
